I started working on some software that I got PLR rights to yesterday. I am not sure I want to market it unless I can get a couple of issues taken care of. It does have some nice features. The instructions leave a lot to be desired. I can overcome the instructions, I just don't know if it is worth the hassle if I can't get the other issues taken care of!

The giveaway portion works great, just needs better instruction. The part that is for sale leaves a lot to be desired. It needs better instruction and the user needs to know how to use Kompozer to make a few changes on the sales page.

My head was spinning when I listened to and watched the instruction videos that were included. I had to go back and write down the things that needed to be accomplished before I even tried setting up the software for use. If I hadn't had Chris's training, I am not sure if I ever would have gotten the software to work! On the giveaway portion, they got you right up to where the product was produced. Then they left you hanging! They did not tell you where the file had to be placed on your website to get the desired result!

The for sale software had much worse instructions! Now I know why they sold it with no refunds! I should have known better.

Lesson here everyone!!! Some PLR stuff is great, some not! Be sure that the stuff you are trying to sell works as advertised. If I tried to sell this as is, I would lose customers! I will probably use just the first portion for list building purposes and forget about trying to sell the second portion!

Follow up and Apology

I had a flare up of my diverticulitis and am just now feeling well enough to get back at things. Sorry for not updating anything.
I have started working on a link cloaker that looks interesting. I will let every one know how it looks after I work with it for a day or so.
It sure is nice to be able to get back to work!

Day 2 (A Little Late)

Yesterday (Day 2) I ran out of steam before I posted my update. So here we go.

I researched and signed up as an affiliate for Hostgator. I made some images using Techsmith Snagit 11 ( they are on version 12 now, I just haven't upgraded yet). It is a nice tool as I can add a lot of things to several images.

As you can see, I added numbered steps, blocks with text instructions and arrows. Neat!
Unfortunately Techsmith doesn't offer an affiliate program.

I will be making a video and a PDF for a squeeze page I am setting up for this offer. While I do not expect a lot of sales, who knows. No effort=No sales!

I also cleaned up my desktop on my PC so I can focus better. I had way to much stuff on it!

I was interrupted several times during the day to take care of pressing business. (Life happens) I have found that I have not fully recovered from a bout with severe Diverticulitis. My body tells me it is time to quit and I have to listen to it.

Not the best day. LOL Woke up with a nice sinus headache.

Spent a little time at the Chris Farrell Membership site Forum. Shared how I had done some local advertising using Facebook groups. Gave a visual of the ad that I used and told about the results.

I worked on a video review of a product and almost have it finished. I will be setting up a review blog for that product in the morning. I will publish the review on You Tube in the morning also.
